Ford's strong sales of hybrids (including the C-MAX, Focus Electric, and the Ford Fusion and Fusion Energi) over the last two months of 2012 plus another strong month for January has increased Ford's market share by 9 points while Toyota lost 8 points.

Look out Prius, here comes the Ford Fusion Energi to knock your socks off! I wonder how Toyota plans to respond to this loss. Obviously Prius is their electric vehicle flagship. I wonder if a big redesign will happen?

It will be interesting to see how it plays out for the Fusion Energi--if sales are up to Ford's expectations.
