Does anyone know what the $3,750 "Available Incentive Program #50164: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 04/01/2013" is? Are they taking about the $3,751 Fed Credit (http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/taxphevb.shtml)?

Just got info from Ford Services. They said "It's a Red Carpet Lease customer cash program. It's available to customers who lease the car within the given time frame. Offers are subject to change and a dealer should be consulted for complete details". So I guess that covers it. Funny that it is $1 short of the Fed Credit.

Yes, got the same RCL incentive listed for California zip code. I guess Ford Credit takes advantage of the federal credit instead you.

For a purchase, I was told by the dealer that there are no incentives for the Fusion Energi.

Looks like most dealers will accept $500 over dealer invoice which includes destination charges. Here in California, registration and use taxes are $3,000 on a $37,900 (invoice $37,400 + $500) sale price. That's a Fusion Energi SE with $295 backup camera option (configured MSRP w/destination $39,790). If you have purchase incentives, then the price would go lower.

For a Seattle zip code, Ford.com only shows my a $1500 retail customer cash incentive

Program #12254: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 04/01/2013. Not all Fusion Energi models qualify. See dealer for residency restrictions and complete details.

I would tend to think it's the Federal Tax Rebate - since the rebate applies to the leasee, not the leaser, Ford is merely passing that along to the customer to make the Energi more attractive.

The rebates for electric and hybrid cars like the Ford Fusion Energi definitely helps the price points!
